New conference to bring together knowledge and vision of pipelines in the media and entertainment industry
Los Angeles, June 25, 2019 – The Pipeline Conference (TPC) will attract senior figures with technical backgrounds working with animation, VFX and games pipelines. The conference will take place at General Assembly in Los Angeles from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
Launching in Los Angeles, The Pipeline Conference is a one-day event attracting a global audience to discuss and share insights into the evolving challenges in VFX and animation. It’s projected that by 2024, the global VFX market will reach $20 billion.
“We have had an overwhelming response at the annual Global VFX Pipelines Birds of a Feather session at SIGGRAPH for the past eight years,” says Fran Zandonella Benjamin, co-chair of The Pipeline Conference. “With the increase in demand for more content with shorter turnarounds, pipeline technologists need to communicate, collaborate, and incorporate the latest technologies into their skillset. We look forward to bringing the community even closer to exchange knowledge and tackle the problems of tomorrow.”
