Talks and Panels

The Pipeline Conference is a one-of-a-kind event, where professionals from VFX, Animation, Gaming, and Immersive media learn and share the latest developments in CG Production Pipeline with industry experts.

Conference Content

We invite submissions on any production pipeline-related topic, like, but not limited to:

  • Going cloud-native
  • Practical use of USD in production
  • Pipelines outside of the M&E industry
  • Real-time rendering in production pipelines
  • Emerging technology which could re-shape pipelines

We’re not looking for sales pitches or product promotions, rather we are looking for talks demonstrating how a particular technical approach was used or could be used to solve a particular pipeline problem. As a general guideline, talks should be inspiring and empowering for the pipeline community and give a grasp of the future. Talks should provide enough technical details to demonstrate relevance for the audience, explain what challenges were solved and how, and which lessons were learned.

Submission deadline: Friday, June 5th, 2020.

Submissions should take the form of an extended abstract with associated visual material. Written documents should be submitted in PDF format, video in Quicktime or Mpeg format.

If you do not already have an EasyChair account, you’ll need to create one.

EasyChair will let you upload your abstract or paper, but is unable to accommodate large files such as explanatory videos, software, or data sets. If you have additional materials to submit, please email to get directions to submit the materials. Nobody will have access to it but the chairs and the program committee members who are assigned to review your submission. The materials will be deleted when reviews are completed.
